How eAssist Changed My Life – Connie Loomis

I worked in Fargo for 12 years as a dental assistant for perio, endo, ortho, oral surgery, and general dentistry. I also worked as a receptionist/office manager in a general office for 10 years; I always felt it was a dead end job. I had nowhere to really go to keep growing my skills. Pay was mediocre at best in ND. Between my spouse and I, we were able to always make ends meet so I was content.

My husband passed away unexpectedly at home at the age of 44, we had no insurance only liabilities.

I lost my house, both vehicles, and my husband. At that moment I realized something had to change. I could not make it on what I was doing. I lived with family and friends and tried to figure out what God plans were for me.

I knew ideally I wanted a job that allowed me to work from anywhere. The idea of being able to move around and bring my job with me was very appealing. I came across eAssist and knew right away this was exactly what I was looking for. I would finally get paid for my work that was completed not the hours that were put in.

I love the fact that I know I can make it on my own.

I have never felt secure about making it on my own until eAssist. Not only can I make it on my own I have the support of the “eAssist Nation” to lean on for those tough days or to help someone else in need on there tough days. I always have new challenges and am learning new way to do things. This is a job that I can see me doing for many years to come. No matter your age, you can work as much or as little as you need.

Huge thank you to everybody at eAssist for all the encouragement, support, and advice that has made this the best place to work.
