eAssist Spotlight- Kellie Maddox

Kellie Maddox has been with eAssist for a little over a year.  She originally applied to be an eAssist contractor, but through the testing process, she found an issue with one of the testing modules. Instead of leaving it as is, she sent an email that identified the problem and the solution to fix it. Angel, the IT Director, called her shortly after and asked if she would be interested in a position with the IT team. Kellie says it is the best decision she has ever made.

Kellie really loves to fix things and with IT, there is always a new problem to work through and new things to learn. She loves that there is never a dull moment. When asked what her favorite aspect of eAssist is, Kellie says, “My favorite aspect of what I do is that I get to help people and make their day just a little bit better. Our eAssisters rely heavily on computers and connections. Without them, there would be no eAssist. So when a computer isn’t working, it is incredibly stressful for the eAssister and the office they work with. To be able to come in, take that stress and worry away, and get everyone back on track is what I love to do!”

Fellow eAssister Lindsy has nothing but praises to say about Kellie. “I’ve had the pleasure of serving on a committee with Kellie and getting to know her better over the last several months. Kellie is a true example of what eAssist is all about. Working in the IT department is a fairly behind-the-scenes position, but I have seen first-hand what a great asset Kellie is to our company! She is proactive, always a step ahead, solving problems, and willing to help out whenever & wherever there is a need. She exemplifies each of the Core Values in a way that is inspiring to everyone she interacts with. She’s fun to be around, and has a great sense of humor; one of my favorite nerds!”

When she isn’t working at her computer, Kellie can be found out riding and training horses. We love having Kellie on the team and hope you learned a little bit more about her!

  • I also have had the pleasure of working with Kellie in the past. She was an asset to the office, the patients, and overall a pleasure to be around. We have kept in touch over the years even though life took us in separate ways, but she is a rare gem. You are lucky to have her at your company.
