eAssist Spotlight – Katrina Winch

Katrina Winch has been with eAssist for four years this coming May. She originally applied to eAssist due to the stresses and demands of her previous job. She was a practice manager for a multi-location practice and it was taking a toll on her and her family. She and her husband were ready to expand their family, but it became apparent that it would not be an option with her current career path, that is when she found eAssist. She finds it very rewarding to help patients by ensuring their insurance pays the max to reduce their out of pocket expense. eAssist has allowed her unlimited opportunity for growth, the ability to have control over her workload and income, and the flexibility her schedule now has. She never has to miss an event of her kids anymore. An interesting fact about Katrina is she ran for town council at the age of 21 and only lost by 1 vote. Cori-Anne, Katrina’s fellow Regional Manager says this about Katrina, “I have known Katrina for almost 8 years now, even before eAssist. She has always been such a role model to me. She is amazing at what she does and I often think she must be super human. She is always there for me just to say hi or in a major crisis when I need professional guidance. She is always positive, uplifting and always is there cheering me on. She is a leader unlike anyone I have ever met before.  I am amazed everyday by the amount she completes and just in awe that she never waivers off track and is always there to support others. I truly appreciate her as a friend and colleague as I am sure many others do as well.” Katrina says eAssist has been a TRUE blessing in her life.
