eAssist Spotlight- Ruth Nguyen

Ruth Nguyen has been with eAssist since March 2014. She had randomly come across an ad regarding eAssist and applied due to a recent relocation for her husband’s employment. She has a love of dentistry and after working in the field for 22 years in Louisiana, she wanted to continue to her passion after moving. Ruth was very interested in learning as much about the dental billing field as she could and being able to assist practices remotely. She found a way to increase her knowledge and jumped at the chance. Her favorite aspect of eAssist is learning something new every single day from her eAssist family. She says “It humbles me and reminds me that this life is not about me but about what I can do for others – how I can assist and be of service.” An interesting fact about Ruth is she has had the incredible opportunity to serve on a team rendering preventative care in the Chicago Public Schools. “The fact is that the passion to serve lead me in ways I would never dreamed possible and to opportunities that actually surprise life by the ripple effect of assisting others.” says Ruth. Merrit, her RM, says this about Ruth, “She has been my team member since 2014 and works with me on 3 offices. I would work with her on all of my offices if possible! She is so dedicated and consistent in her work, and I love that I never have to worry if claims are being worked. Ruth is a dentist and used to own her own practice before moving to Chicago, and so she is intimately aware of the burden unpaid claims creates for the dentist/owner. She brings that passion and understanding to her work with eAssist and I am honored to work with her and appreciate all she has taught me.”
